What is “Math Journey”?
The math journey is not just operations + numbers.
There’s a person behind it.
A whole person with a story (even if they’re only 9 years old), with doubts, fears, insecurities, + passions that are not numbers…they are a whole world.
So you cannot just teach math (or any subject) without also helping them through the battles in their mind.
⚠️What do I mean when I say “math journey”?⚠️
☁️I know what it's like to be in the dumps of academia.
☁️I know what it's like to study endlessly and still fail.
☁️I know what it's like to be depleted from all your energy and still keep going.
☁️ I know what it's like to feel super disappointed in yourself, to expect so much of yourself without getting anything out.
Think of it as squeezing a lemon so hard, with all your might, and still get no juice for your lemonade.

I can anticipate these hurdles because I've been through them and back.
